Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for the power of prayer ... more accurately, O God, for the power that You unleash through our communion with You. It is for an outpouring of power over this cancer that we seek Your face, Gracious Lord, on behalf of Jay as he undergoes extensive surgery and recovery. May the surgery be far less complicated than expected ... may the removal of the tumor be without complication ... and may the recovery be complete. Give the greatest wisdom and direction to his surgeons ... may his caregivers be attentive to every aspect of his comfort and recovery ... may he soon return to Free Republic with a praising heart and a joyful soul.
Walk with him during this difficult time, Merciful Father, and bring him back into the sunshine of good health. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...

I have just prayed for you my friend, and I will continue to remember you in prayer. You are gonna be MISSED while you are gone. My brother had stage 4 cancer, and could only go "under the knife" for it. That was over 20 years ago, and he is doing fine. I'm expecting the same good news outta you, ok?
