How old are your kids?
I would take mine ages 8 and 11 if this was anywhere close.
They have both been on freeps and my 8 year old cried when she realized Bush was coming to town and we could not go because we could not get close enough and I was afraid of the protesters.
Mine are 7 and 4. I think they can handle it, I just want to know what I'm getting into. It'll be a 90 minute drive to the library even without all this hubbub.. you know?
I would take my kids too, but we live in the middle of NE. THink AF1 will be flying over us on Wednesday?
I'm teaching them love and respect of our President Bush, and "making" them watch the Reagan coverage--they'll remember it in the future, like I rememeber the day he was shot and my parents "made" me watch the news.
