Poohbah, the point is, there are HV rounds that are rocket propelled that get it up to speed fast enough to be lethal to an Abrams, and they can do it on the battlefield...close enough in to make them effective.
Try again. The figures I've seen on LOSAT (which is the best-of-breed in RPHVKEAP) are in the 500m+ range.
