The History Channel had a D-Day segment hosted by Alec Baldwin! That's strike one; two more and my satellite dish gets used for target practice.
This weekend was the ultimate chutzpah/hypocrisy onslaught for the mainstream media-pretending they liked Reagan and pretending to admire American GI's for winning a war. I scrupulously avoided any shows on the major networks involving these two subjects for fear of contracting a case of terminal dry heaves. I'm much more comfortable when the press is spewing its more characteristic vitriolic hatred of conservatives, the military and anything American. Although to their credit, they did maintain some consistency (and classic poor taste) in doing a couple hit pieces on President Reagan.
I'm sick of Baldwin too. I bet there are some interesting conversations between Alec and his brother (Billy?) who is a super Christian who considers Christianity and the bible to be non negotiable.
