Are they referring to the Pacifica? My husband and I are planning on buying a 2004 model this month. Its a beautiful combo suv minivan.

$113M is a drop in the bucket. Probably just a story resulting from a planned normal model update, but the city officials want to claim some "work" with DC officials to keep jobs in town. Heck, $113M wouldn't even refurbish their paint shop.

Yep. I not a big Chrysler fan, but the Pacifica is a wonderful looking vehicle. A rather unique blend of minivan, SUV, and regular hatchback car.

We were looking at the Caravan for a month or so before we found the Pacifica and the Caravan just looked so ugly after that. The Pacifica is nice and has tons of room. All the rear seats fold down and the hatch opens automatic.
We have not bought a new car since 95 so its way overdue and we are very happy about this choice. Its very heavy however 22 miles per gallon which is probably what I am getting on my 2 old cars a 90 GMC jimmy and a 95 Jetta. On an average week that is all we do and it will be perfect for road trips.

Outsourcing is another one of those issues that the anxiety prone tend to worry about.
In the 70s it was running out of oil.
Eighties was the decade of greed.
Nineties was. . .
Life goes on, and its getting better all the time.

I own a Pacifica. It rocks. Would buy another in an instant.
Also, I'll take ANY news about investing in America as good. $133m? Right on. Spend it here. Drop in the bucket or no, that means jobs, and that's good for the US of A.
