Oh, God. Well, we knew it would happen.

That is really weird, the way he avoided Sharon. I think he didn't trust himself to put on the right sort of act.

I hope the witnesses who were there can continue to convey the atmosphere, b/c that is an important part of this thing, too. So what if the police had a gut feeling, from early on? That's what they get paid to do. And it's a good thing.

Thanks RG, it was nice to see an unbiased report of today's testimony...Shep's show had a very pro-defense report saying that Amy had said that the pants that Laci was found in were NOT the ones she was wearing on the 23rd, and that she looked more like a defense witness....
I think I'll wait to read the transcripts to sort this out.
I was looking back on some prelim testimony to see the report on the pants.here it is for comparison...

From the Prelim transcript...

17 Q. At the autopsy, did you examine or look at the
18 pants?
19 A. I did.
20 Q. And were you assigned to do some follow-up with
21 regards to those particular pants?
22 A. Yes, I was.
23 Q. I want to go back through this. The pants that was
24 found on Laci Peterson's body on the 14th of April, can you
25 describe those to the Court?
26 A. The pants that I found on her were a tan-colored
27 pants with a drawstring, a zipper and a button, that had a
28 pin tuck on it.

1287
1 Q. And is that some type of sewing or fabric term?
2 A. Pin tuck would be like a sewed stitching like
3 almost a crease on the front of the pants that would run the
4 length of the legs.

This is my first time posting and I am computer challanged, so bear with me. Reading the article link it talked about the dog being put in the back yard with his leash on. I can't stand it anymore and it finally drove me crazy enough to register and post. Who finds a loose dog and just puts said dog in the yard WITH THE LEASH ON? Wouldn't you go to the door first and see if the owner was home? If the owner wasn't home, or course you would put the dog in the yard, but not with the leash on. If the leash was in the condition that was reported, muddy, wouldn't that set off alarm bells for the person who found the dog knowing whos' dog it was and make sure that person was o.k., given Laci's pregenancy? At the very least a phone call to the owner saying you put the dog in the yard and please call to make sure you (Laci) were all right. I'm sorry but you don't leave a leash on a dog - things can happen.
