"FORGET THE HYPE and the threats and the rumors about a deal brewing in Sacramento. California is not going to enact a bill to allow illegal immigrants to apply for driver's licenses this year or anytime soon.

In the article posted here, Arnold says the following:

"One way or the other, we will do it [give lcenses to illegals], and that's why we are negotiating," the governor said. "I'm very optimistic that it will be done, and it's just a matter of time."

So, is he lying about being "optimistic that it will be done, and it's just a matter of time"?

Selective quote -- as I said, why don't you read the article, the link to which I posted which puts things in perspective.

Arnold puts requirements on it, that the Dems will never go along with, and so Arnold will never sign the bill.

Again -- why is it that people here attack Arnold, but not the Dems who are pushing the bill.
