I think they're already praying, though not to the same source of Wisdom and Power that the rest of us will be, and not for the same things.

They thought they were on a roll, that Bush was doomed and America was going to get the same kind of drubbing we got in Vietnam. And then the Iraqi's apparently succeeded in picking an interim government. And the "insurgency" fizzled out. And with President Reagan's passing the whole country was reminded who and what he was, who and what George Bush is, and who and what the dims were, are and will remain for the forseeable future.

Guard yourself. I think there's going to be a lot of pissed off lefties over the next couple of days. Watch for the polls to disappear from the news (as they tilt toward GWB). Watch for the news from Iraq to disappear from page 1 (as they fail to find enough bad things to report). Watch for the news about the economy to slip over to emphasize how bad a successful economy can be (causing inflation... oh doom!).

Yes, I think they're already praying, just not for what we're praying for and not to Whom we are praying to.
