It is amazing how the death of Ronald Regan has affected those on the left. When I learned of his passing yesterday, I honestly thought that there would be some quiet words by the news anchors at the end of the broadcasts, and it would pass away as a foot note to history. Instead I saw many of those same people who seemed to be so filled with hatred genuinely look filled with compassion.
The funeral will be a state one, and maybe the vision of the Great President laying in in the capital cathedral will awaken something in the public.

There is some irony here. I've noticed a sort of..."Oh, my gosh, we all have to get dressed up and go to church." There is some awkwardness here. The media has to deal with covering prayers at a state funeral at the national cathedral in Washington. Gee, where does that leave the separation of Church & State crowd?
