Wasn't the original also supposed to include full bodies?

Whatever the location, it would have to be granite or a similar type stone. Sedimentary rock, such as sandstone, would crumble too easily

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe granite is a Sedimentary rock. Limestone or Marble outcropping would be good if it is stable. What about the New River gorge in West Virginia or Kings Mountain in North Carolina?
