I'm surprised. I expected the following article from the NY Times:
New York (NYT) -- A nation cheered today as Ronald Reagan finally passed on.
The man who had been reviled as the cause of the collapse of the Soviet Union was laid to rest due to complications from Alzheimers.
"I'm glad he's dead," said Lefty Whackmeister, a 63 year old bottle-collecter, "He caused so much suffering by putting this nation through AIDS and homelessness and getting the CIA to distribute crack in black neighborhoods."
The somewhat amusing, befuddled old man was dearly loved by millions of Hitler-worshipping conservatives. His legacy, a stain of corruption including Iran-Contra and the Savings and Loan debacle, was gravely hurt by his destruction of the premiere example of communism in the world -- the Soviet Union. It is for that reason that leftists tend to dislike the man.
Arch Nemesis, a 22 year old heroin addict, spat on the ground. "If it wasn't for Reagan, I'd have a ___ing job."
The commie college professors who subscribe to the NY Slimes probably dont even know the Gipper passed on, since their coke binges havent worn off from last night yet..
LOL....good one!
You need to include an ex Air Traffic Controller who was suprised that after being told that if he went on strike he would be fired, he went on strike...AND WAS FIRED!
Good one!
