Could it be possibly kept hush hush and secret just for the sake of safety and security for these people who are so wealthy and influential - and nothing more. Famous and rich people don't ever let folks know their schedule and plans for safety reasons and plain old privacy.

Yes, this is most definitely the reason, but it is more fun for people to imagine that they are subject to some conspiracy or some other such nonsesne.
