I agree with you Southack. There is more to this plan than is seen on the surface. This move is imparative for the implimentation of it. The US is completely determined to eliminate terrorism, where ever it is, and this is all part of that plan. President Bush stuck his neck out a mile when he agreed to Sharon's plan and he's not about to allow it to be changed. It's daring, but it is going to work.
This roadmap, Sharon plan, etc. is basically a way for the US to try to calm the Europeans and Arabs who are mad about US action against terror in Iraq. On the one hand the US is determined to eliminate terrorism, and on the other determined to give terror a new country.
