If you click on the link I show in post #66, you'll see we did reprimand Michael for his Bozo-no-no, and he acknowledged the mistake. He admits he was asleep at the wheel on gun retention. Still, I gotta say, the cops' action was a bit over the top, to say the least.

If I am the owner of a retail establishment, and my store policy, is no firearms {as is the case with almost all national retail chains, for liability sake}I would not confront some jackass with an open carry firearm, I would call the police and have them do it for me. All the rationalizing aside, anyone who thinks it should be legal to carry open in a retail establishment or mall is a complete idiot.

In a way, that was probably a blessing for him. If he had fought these thugs, it's likely he'd be either dead or in jail facing felony charges.
