Are you talking about a Chinese restaurant called the Tea House? That's been long gone. My dad was a mailman, and that was his route many moons ago. Crenshaw x PCH.

Flying monkeys? We moved down here to take care of my mom, who had advanced Alzhemers and dementia. We suffered through 3 years of harassment. There was this cop who would come and bother us. Last summer, the neighbor from hell called them on my son and his friend for sitting on the front porch. I've been sick from all the stress and finally went to sleep, right? I open my eyes and see this cop staring at me....in my bedroom.

My son in law has filed so many complaints against the neighbor from hell, who thankfuly moved last month, and the police dept. it isn't even funny. That nasty cop is the community liason officer now. My youngest was home one day, and she heard him ask me how fast we could move out of here.

The next time he came, he tried to goad me into making incriminating statements, which he was taping. I gave him hellfire. He hasn't been back since, but they've tapped my phone line. We have fun with that >:-D

This city exceeds Stephen King's imagination. I'm going to homeschool my 9 yr old, because the teachers have been rotten to her. She has recently been diagnosed as having severe depression. BS!

Sorry for the rant, but you did ask about the flying monkeys.
