We should all e-mail Tony Snow and point out what time it was during the remarks that Dubya made and that he chose to do it while it was still "today" over here, even though it was "tomorrow" and in the middle of the Effin night where Bush spoke from.
By all means, call Snow an Effin prig while you are at it.
Yeah, it was a very small-minded thing for Snow to say. The context was that the panel was talking about Reagan as the Great Communicator. They were also talking about how the current President is, politically speaking, more an heir of Ronald Reagan than his own father. Snow apparently thought that one way to draw a distinction between Reagan and GWB was to diss the current President's formal remarks. Snow was wrong.
