John Kerry remembers President Reagan
The Boston Herald ^ | Saturday, June 5, 2004

By Associated Press

Boston - Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry [related, bio] says Ronald Reagan taught all Americans valuable lessons.

Kerry issued a statement today shortly after hearing the announcement that the former Republican president of the United States had died at his Los Angeles home.

Kerry says Reagan had an infectious love of country.

Kerry says that even during his bitterest differences with Democrats, Reagan lived by the noble ideal that at 5 p-m the country wasn't divided into Democrats and Republicans, but that everybody was an American and a friend.

He says Reagan taught the nation that there is a difference between strong beliefs and bitter partisanship.

Kerry says Reagan's example reminds the nation that we must move forward with optimism and resolve.

President Reagan taught Americans that the Nuclear Freeze
movement was a hairbrained and cowardly idea, you dumb jackass.

He might have taught the lessons to the nation, but he apparently taught nothing to POS Kerry.

If Kerry'd had his way, Nicaragua would be a communist country today. Reagan stopped Kerry then, and we'll have to stop Kerry now.

Dear Mr., er, Senator Kerry:

President Reagan taught Americans that the Nuclear Freeze movement was a hairbrained and cowardly idea, you dumb jackass.

...just had to repeat it, as I don't have your sort of eloquence.

First he was sad and then he tried to use this death to his political benefit.

Whatever I think of Mr Kerry this was an honorable statement.

One could only wish that DU, the alphabet networks, and assorted trolls had done the same.

Kerry didn't admire President Reagan before he did.

Kerry can kiss it all goodbye at RR's funeral. All he can do is agree with the great man or be an idiot. Come to think of it, he'll probably be an idiot with snide comments.

Ronald Reagan was a conservative Republican who embodied the spirit of America.

John Kerry's core values are those of a liberal Democrat.

Nuff said.

from Boortz:

In Sean Hannity's new book, he unearths a letter that John Kerry wrote criticizing President Reagan for the retaliatory bombing in 1986 of Libyan dictator Moammar Qadafi. In the letter, Kerry complains that Reagan "overreacted" to the bombing of a Berlin disco frequented by American troops. He claimed that our retaliation, which nearly killed Qadaffi, was not "proportional." Just whose side is this guy on, anyway?

He also said that "we are not going to solve the problem of terrorism with this kind of retaliation." This is why Kerry must be stopped. We simply cannot have someone who will not defend the United States of America against attack without permission from some other country or the United Nations.

He says Reagan taught the nation that there is a difference between strong beliefs and bitter partisanship.

Kerry should know since he and the other RATS are the ones who are guilty of bitter partisanship.

I sure as hell hope Kerry also told us that he fought in Viet Nam and that he is a war hero.

Kerry is an ASS.
