Why do we have to be sad? He had a glorious, near perfect life, and accomplished so much, lived long and healthy, had childfren and grandchildren, and the love of a good woman..It was his time, God called him home. There is NO need for sadness..
Sorrow for his familys loss and the loss to the country; he is in a better place and we can all be thankful for that. Your point, however, is well taken.
I am sad for the end of an era, sad because we won't see his like again, and sad for his family. I am certain that Nancy is sad, and I am, too.
