I am so proud to be able to say that he was the first president I voted for...I was 18 and knew even then I was doing the right thing.

I am sad yet overwhelmed at the pride that he was an American and a Republican and our President.

Yep. I turned 18 in 1983, so I got to vote for him in 1984. I consider myself blessed to have been able to witness his presidency. He is a giant. I am in tears. The retrospectives are almost unbearable, and made easier only by the knowledge that he is at peace.

Dana Rohrbacher talking about the Reagan Speech at the Berlin Wall and how all of the White House staff was very concerned with what he was going to say , yet Reagan insisted that it should be said!
