This is particularly painful for me because my own father passed away recently after a long illness. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
All I can say is that the sorrow belongs to those of still here on Earth and not him anymore. His soul is now unburdened by the weaknesses of flesh we all share and the terrible illness he suffered under for years.
Heaven is a little brighter now and the Earth is less.
History will remember Ronald Reagan for freeing the people of other nations and bringing back pride to the people of his own.
I miss my father and I'll miss Ronald Reagan.

Condolences on the loss of your father. My own dad died of alzheimer's disease 20 years ago. (It doesn't seem that long ago.)

If a fully alert Ronald Reagan had still been available to us, I'm sure his message to us would be to win yet another one for the Gipper. He was one of the greats, that's for sure.
