ABC just announced :( Ronald Reagan was 93
That was phony-- I laughed at him!
Please keep your useless musings to yourself today, ok?
Just got home to the sad news.......there are no words that can express......God surely Blessed (not just) America, but the world when he gave us Reagan.
Oh please bann me for being impolite for introducing subjects of a poltiical nature...instead of a eulogy.
Why not wait a week or so with this garbage?
FNC said they had a few days notice that this was it this time.
I have some experience in the situation. I miss him dearly but, have had the brokenness filled.
Yeah, it's terrible.
What a real gentleman and hero. Nancy has had to battle this a long time and she has done so beautifully.
I just got back home from the Belmont Stakes race. 100,000+ people, at the time of his passing, they flashed the notice on the large screen televisions and public address system - you could here a pin drop as everyone stood for a moment of silence, the flag was lowered to half staff.
Please give us all a break, ConservoB****
Rest in Peace Gipper.
"there'll be plenty of opportunity to watch the Rats dance on President Reagan's grave in the coming days and weeks. That sight will be on the mainstream media 24/7."
I say let them show the RATS glee. Let the people see the difference in the class and grace of the Republicans versus the bloodlust of the RATS dancing on a grave that is not yet cold. Let them see how classless, godless and gutless the RATS really are!
If they act the way we all expect them to it will cause a bigger uproar than the Wellstone Pep Rally!
And then conservatives will have the last laugh all the way to the inaguration in January.
I myself am reflecting on watching the '68 GOP convention with my then-recently divorced mother, and wondering what a drawing of an elephant was doing on the podium. :-) We also went to a Delaware County (PA) Republican picnic at the Springfield CC that summer (I remember the Snoopy the Flying Ace tablecloths :-) ). I think I even heard the name Ronald Reagan for the first time that year. Yes, I would say that 1968 was the beginning of my own political awareness, A.C.R., although that can be argued since I was only 7 years old (though I do remember a spot for "Schweiker for U.S. Senate" that year - and wasn't he going to be Ronnie's running mate in '76?).
Time for you to sobor up.
I cried too.
everyone please stop mentioning the du-mies. We can predict their mental illness response and hatred. They are already on the ashheap of history. They have no place in the future.
forget about them.
He sure did. It doesn't get any better than RWR.
