"Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Pope also denounce the war in Iraq?" I don't think he totally denounced it, I'd say that he tried to prevent it. But he did totally denounce the barbaric acts perpetrated against the U.S. on 9-11.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Pope also denounce the war in Iraq? There's a difference, though. Abortion and homosexual activity is contrary to Church doctrine, but war isn't. He's speaking in terms of the official doctrine of the Church on this.
