Kerry Backers Unhinged

Something to Yak About – Kerry Backers Unhinged
Just when you think John Kerry’s core supporters can’t get any wackier, they do. At the left wing confab called the Take Back America Conference, billionaire lefty George Soros compared the Iraqi prisoner abuse controversy with the terrorist attacks of 9/11! “The picture of torture in Saddam's prison was a moment of truth for us," Soros said at Thursday’s TBA session in Washington, DC. "I think that those pictures hit us the same way as the terrorist attack itself.”

‘Outrageous’ Soros Comments Blasted by RNC Chief
Upon hearing the remarks of George Soros comparing the Iraqi prison controversy to the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie voiced concerns that comments like those of Soros are fueling a ‘Blame America First’ mentality. “For Democrats to say that the abuse of Iraqi fighters is the moral equivalent of the slaughter of 3,000 innocent Americans is outrageous,” says Gillespie.

Kerry Moves Left With Radical Supporters
The stable of John Kerry backers and the Democrat Party at large keep getting weirder and weirder all the time. We’ve got radical fringe elements calling themselves ‘progressives,’ teamed up with the fabulously wealthy George Soros, all of whom are falling in line behind John Kerry along with other supposedly mainstream Democrats like Hillary Clinton, Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the usual suspects. Conventional wisdom says Democrats run to the Left in the primaries and back to the Center for the general election, but John Kerry is going so far to the Left he’s falling off the radar screen.

New Standard Bearer for Wacky Conspiracy Theories?
Remember all the crazy conspiracy theories spawned by some of the candidates in the Democrat primaries? Seems the newest theory, according to TBA speaker Julian Bond, is a “right-wing conspiracy” controlling the White House, the Senate, the House, a sizable chunk of the judicial system and “a major portion of the news media.” That’s it? Couldn’t they do better than boosting Hillary Clinton’s famous 1998 political punch line? A little creativity, puh-leez!

Liberal Re-Treads: Slander the GOP
And speaking of lifting lines from old Democrat talking points, the assembled progressives at the TBA conference this week cheered as Republicans were compared to Taliban terrorists and Nazis. Sorry folks, Tim Johnson beat you to the punch on the goofy Taliban line, and Move On Dot Org pretty much has the market cornered on the whole Nazi thing. Yo – pay more attention to your morning clips, dudes!

Hot Stuff
Between the vicious slander and vacuous ravings at this TBA circus, it’s hard to know where to start, so why not make us your first call? Drop a dime to RNC Radio Services at 202-863-8614 and we’ll get you squared away for a cracker-jack segment on what these folks are up to.

Talkers Profile – Alan Colmes
“Fox News Live with Alan Colmes became the lead offering of the new Fox News Radio division. Once again, Colmes found himself breaking new ground bringing the Fox brand name to radio and instantly establishing himself as the reigning liberal in the medium. This wildly popular show is being grabbed up by stations all over the country, and garnering ratings and revenue.” (SOURCE: Alan Colmes)

The Final Yak
“Their hatred of the President is fueling a blame America first mentality that is troubling.” (SOURCE: RNC Chairman Ed Gillespie, on John Kerry backers who equate the World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 with the abuse of Iraqi POWs.)

Nope Not really ...not even close. I didn't lose any sleep over the prison.

After the Berg murder i didn't sleep well for at least two weeks. The prison picks while not terribly helpfull in a PR sense still brought a grin to my face.

I find it impossible to believe that Soros REALLY believes what he said ("I think that those pictures hit us the same way as the terrorist attack itself.”) That kind of pandering to the "stupids" of our country is beyond shameful; it's downright criminal.

The "us" Soros is referring to is leftwingers, liberals, and progressives, NOT Americans in general. I'm sure some of them felt at least a vague sense of loss over the 9/11 attacks. But to MoveOn.org and their ilk, 9/11 was not necessarily an entirely bad thing since the blow was aimed at the "establishment" they love to hate (even while many of them make a lot of money participating in it). Soros' (and the others) inability to see the qualitative and quantitative difference between the two acts simply reveals the pinched, self-justifying, equivocating, dogma-driven reasoning that is the engine of liberal despair.

What Soros did was to continue on the Kennedy conclusion that management has not changed, or directly: the U.S. is on equal footing with Saddam's dictatorial, murderous Iraq.
Soros followed Kennedy or was it the other way around?
Both are cut of the same cloth: radical, rich, liberal.
Both know that effectiveness of hate speech is served best when repeated.
Frequency of slander is reinforced and becomes credible by silence of a liberal elite media that wants Busch destroyed.

Thank you so much. I was dying, I thought I was the only one that had a chuckle at the expense of those pictures. Thank you for reminding me that not everyone is up-tight.
Heres to you.

Regards
Chip

But being a rich liberal makes it so much more easier to throw rocks from their glass houses. They just build a new one so on and so forth. Rich liberals can't and won't relate to those icky unwashed democratic masses...ewwww

Democrat = a lot of talking but no walking their talk(except for camera opportunities), dat's fo da po folks.
