I'm confused. Why would you put sails on a lion? ;-)

This is from an Iraqi website titled "the Messopotamian".

Thanks for posting this! How sad that President Bush gets more respect and encouragement from The Mesopotamian than the New York Times.

Don't you just hate it when you can't make up your mind which metaphor to use? The Lion King or Master and Commander?

Encouraging sentiments, and President Bush deserves all the encouragement we can give him. Unfortunately, while reading this my mind flitted to a nature program I watched lately (Discovery?) where they showed a grisly sequence of a lion (a young one, admittedly) being surrounded and killed by a pack of hyenas while the rest of the lion pride watched from a safe distance. I guess the moral is that, strong as President Bush is, we need to give him as much help and encouragement as possible so the hyena pack (mainstream press and Democrats) don't wear him down.
To: Miss Marple
You don't suppose that's because one wants America to succeed and one doesn't?
One actually LIVES in Iraq, and one lives safe and secure in NY city?
Not that I'm saying that there's any bias what so ever in the "mainstream" media.
