REDWOOD CITY -- While prosecutors focused Thursday on "Mary Jane" shoes and the color of pants Laci Peterson wore on the day before her murder, the alleged killer's defense attorneys launched their assault on the Modesto Police Department's murder investigation. On the first full day of testimony in the double-murder trial, prosecutor Rick Distaso called six witnesses who either saw or had information about Laci's actions on the last day she was seen alive.
Witnesses testified that, on the day before her disappearance, Laci did some grocery shopping for Christmas dinner
at Trader Joe's, got a facial waxing at a day spa, and accompanied husband Scott Peterson to get his hair cut. .....

REDWOOD CITY -- Scott Peterson is a cad not a killer, his defense attorney said Wednesday as he began an assault on the very essence of the evidence against Peterson -- when his wife and child died.
In the scenario cast by attorney Mark Geragos, the child was born alive weeks after Christmas Eve 2002, the date prosecutors say his mother, Laci Peterson, had been killed.
"If this baby was born alive, clearly Scott Peterson had nothing to do with this murder," Geragos explained to the six men and six women of the jury. .......

Do you mean the Peterson family member that accosted Dan Abrams during a break regarding Amber?? That was bizzaro but then everything the Peterson clan does is.
It's a very long list onyx!! We all know that, even Geragross!! It seems to escape this man that a man's CHARACTER counts. Bad character = BAD behaviour, even murder. Not to mention that the amount of circumstances that would have to be coincidences to be worth nothing absolutely defies the law of averages. As Rick D. says - COMMON SENSE. That's what it is. There IS some good testimony coming tho. He has done a masterfully thorough job. He has EXPERTS to testify to just about everything. AND he has kept most of this completely quiet.

I did go there pinz and read it. It's good.
Oh that must be that they said Amber was lying about sleeping with Snott AFTER Laci went missing. I know she met with him ONCE after Laci's disappearance but it was in conjunction with her cooperation with the Police. I simply CANNOT believe Geragos attempting to say that Amber had something to do with Laci's murder!! He reminds me of a man in the water thrashing all about!!
