If they remove the cross, not only should they remove the goddess Pomona, they also better change the county name from "Los Angeles." If they're banning religious expression, they better ban all of it.

Well actually Los Angeles should be changed to "La Allah" being that they seem to have no problem mandating (yes mandating) the teaching of Islam in public schools. The Cali Legislature mandates that all 8th graders take a 3 week course in Islam, which includes adopting an Islamic name and garb. But a tiny cross on a seal that people probably didn`t even know about is Verbotten! That`s why I tend to call Cali Allahfornia now...The only other place that mandates the teaching of Islam is Islamic states in the middle east, usually the ones that have no problem making a bed for Al Qaida.

They'd better get that cow off of there, too.

Actually, it's a little known fact that missionaries not only brought civilization and Christianity to California, they also brought modern display graphics. In fact, they pioneered the use of logos like the Enron logo, where there is a giant "E" with the name "Enron" spelled out down the side of it. In the missionaries case, they often found it necessary to put up signs indicating where the mission was located and employed their graphics skills to create an appropriate sign. So.. really... that thing on the roof wasn't a cross, it was a giant lower-case "t", with the words "the mission" spelled out along its length. Therefore, there's no need to remove it from the seal because it wasn't a religious symbol, just an advertising sign.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.
