Man charged with sexual battery of a child

HOLLY HILL -- Timothy James Fitzwater, who is accused of having sex with an 11-year-old boy and a man he lived with more than two years ago, told police he left his lover shortly after the sexual acts were committed.
Police say video and Polaroid photographs show Fitzwater, 39, and his former lover, Gary Robert Hampton, 43, engaged in sexual acts with the boy, who is now 14, between December 2000 and December 2001.
The case came to light Monday when the boy's relatives found a video tape showing the men and the boy together and went to authorities, police said.
Fitzwater was charged Monday with sexual battery on a child under 12.
Circuit Judge R. Michael Hutcheson has issued a warrant for the arrest of Hampton on the same charge Tuesday, police said. So far, investigators haven't spoken with Hampton and think he may still be in the area.
Fitzwater is being held without bail at the Volusia County Branch Jail. Police are investigating whether other crimes were committed and officials said more charges could follow.

Eighty-one percent of sex crimes committed against children by Roman Catholic priests during the past 52 years were homosexual men preying on boys, according to a comprehensive study released yesterday on the church's sex abuse crisis.
What gets me is that people who think being homo is ok and then are shocked and appalled at the sexual permissiveness that it leads to.
Man/boy/beast are all highly correlated with childhood abuse and homo activity.
When you have 18/14, 25/12, 18/17 and other scenarios, people are then *shocked*. please.

My four year old daughter told me one night during "visitation" that she had been touched "in her privates" by her custodial mom's live in boyfriend.
I took three actions:
1) I called the local child welfare agency.
2) I called a doctor to report the alleged abuse and request that she be evaluated.
3) I confronted the SOB to his face and told him that if he EVER touched my daughter again that it would be one of the last things he ever did, and he knew I meant it.
Items 1 and 2 had no effect.
Item 3 worked. He moved out within 2 weeks.
Do not forget that WE are responsible for our childrens welfare. Don't leave it up to some bureaucrat who may or may not be on your side.
The good news is that my daughter is now 9 and doing well. Her mother has been a lot more responsible since then
