Like ECusa, the ACC numbers have already fallen to dangerous levels. This decision will just accelerate the decay.
Some conservative priests will retire early, and maybe join the continuous Anglican movement. Some Bible-based congregations will withhold monies to their dioceses, and/or walk out to form non-ACC churches. Ordinary church-goers will drift to other non-ACC churches, leaving the beautiful cathedrals to be pulled down to make condos. Just the slow and painful demise of another church.
