Any reason you don't read the books before your daughter does? If there DID manage to slip in something wrong-headed, your method ensures that she'll see it before you will.
The main reason is, that i didn't think to read them until after she had already read 3 of them. At that point, I read them, and now trust the author enough not to care if she reads them first.
