I've done some research in the occult, and have determined that it is a total crock. Wicca is just a bunch of smelly hippies looking for a reason to worship trees.

See, that's the thing. Children today have ever-shorter attention spans. Give them five or six unsuccessful shots at an "Expelliarmus!" and they will eventually wander back to whatever Harry drew their attention from.
