Then this report will be equally damning of the Clinton adminstration, John Kerry, Tom Daschle, and every to other Democrat that called for the bombing of Iraq back in 1998.

Au contrair Mon Ami! This is the report that will be used to further bash the President. Known foreign policy history began the day Clinton left office. Most negative events of our lifetime began then as well. Clinton is a pre-creationist manifestation of all that is wonderful, puffy, and without form. Thus sayeth the ancient book/codex A-B-C-B-S-N-B-C-N-N.

It looks like it might absolve the Bush Administration and point fingers at the CIA. Tennant will be the sacrificial lamb. There are probably WMDs out there, maybe in Syria, but this will show that the CIA assessments were incorrect.
Similar things happened in WWII.

Then this report will be equally damning of the Clinton administration, John Kerry, Tom Daschle, and every to other Democrat that called for the bombing of Iraq back in 1998. The only reason this report would be "damning" to anybody, Clinton, Kerry or Bush, is that the Left sold too many of the American people on the notion that attacking Iraq (as both Presidents Clinton and Bush did) for violating the terms of the Gulf War armistice, shooting at our aircraft in the "No Fly" zone, attempting to assassinate a former US President, attempting to adversely manipulate the oil markets and enslaving 23 million people (while murdering and torturing thousands) just wasn't enough to warrant a military response. But the fact that Saddam's agents or terror friends might plant a chemical or dirty bomb in our backyard, that was something else altogether. And that made Clinton, Bush, Kerry, Tenet, et al suckers for the Chalabi types with stories of an El Dorado of WMD, because everybody inside the Beltway knew, intuitively, that Saddam was a mad dog who needed to removed.

You're dreaming if you think the report will be portrayed as damning Clinton policies or appointees.
