Now for another tack. We're all looking for the best choice. But what about someone we don't like, but doesn't have Tenet's shortcomings. Someone who has some "Washington juice" behind him. A man I can't stand, retiring Senator Fritz Hollings is one such example. Remember that the person must pass congressional muster through the nomination process.
I'm not saying we won't get the best choice for the job, just that the nominee may be someone out of left field.
