I'm personally glad Tenet is leaving, but the timing and circumstances of it are real bad.

I am curious about the timing, too. Maybe he did it on the eve of Bush leaving for Europe in order for it to be overshadowed by the President's trip. Maybe it has to do with Chalabi. Too soon to tell. Even though he may very well be leaving for personal reasons the pressure may just be too much.
