It's just another disaster in a seemingly endless list lately.
It's more ammo for the left. They don't need anymore ammo.
Gosh, Monty, people might take your posts more seriously if you had EVER supported Bush and/or could give an objective summary of anything.
But, of course, you only show up on threads where Bush can be bashed.
I don't see how Tenet's resignation can be described as a "disaster."
The left doesn't need ammo. They make stuff up. They have this pretend, faux outrage over everything.
This is silly. Tenet was there long than most directors and under the most stressful of circumstances. He wanted to leave before and the administration discouraged him. He was a Clinton appointee - why would that give the left ammo that he's leaving? It's not as though he was Bush's guy, even though I think he's been admirably loyal to the president.
Disaster, schmaster. I just mentioned Tenet's resignation to two of my co-workers. They both responded similarly - Who's George Tenet?
well to be honest, most of the media's other "ammo" came in the form of lies: Iraq is a quagmire, US soldiers are "torturers", Bush knew about 9/11 in advance, and on and on.
What scares me about this one is that there is something substanative behind it - this guy resigned for a reason.
