He can claim she was obsessed with him until the cows come home, but he's going to be hard pressed to explain why, if he was trying to dump her, he made all these phone calls:

If he wanted to dump her, it seems to me he had the PERFECT REASON, "Hey, my wife is missing and this is NOT a good time for us to be meeting and/or talking on this cell phone."
