This from today's MN GOP Newsline:
Please join Veterans for Bush Co-Chair, Lt. Colonel Joe Repya (U.S. Army Ret.) as he speaks out against John Kerrys visit to Minnesota for his National Veterans Coalition Roll Out.
WHEN: Friday, June 4th at 9:45 a.m.
WHERE: Coffman Memorial Union (Front Steps) at the University of Minnesota Minneapolis campus. Parking is available at East River Road Ramp; exit from Washington Avenue onto East River Road just south of Coffman Union. See link to map: http://onestop.umn.edu/Maps/CMU/index.html
DETAILS: We will cheer and chant until 11:00 a.m. or our voices give way so please come when you can. Be certain to wear your Bush for President gear. To purchase Bush-Cheney hats, t-shirts, buttons, and jackets go to www.georgewbushstore.com
There will be a large media contingent covering the Kerry visit and we do not want Kerry to have all the news to himself. We need as many people as possible to come show support for President Bush.
If you plan on attending, please take a moment to RSVP to Abby Bacak at abacak@georgewbush.com to help prepare for the rally.
Banners, posters, and flip-flops will be provided.
Please forward this to any and all friends, family, and veterans that you know and well see you there!

I also want to say God bless Colonel Repya! This guy is always willing to stick his neck out. I met him briefly at the Lake Street Bridge in the spring of 2003 as a group of Liberate Iraq folks and I were counter-protesting the Code Pinkers on the bridge. He is a genuine, true blue patriot.
Arghhh! I knew I'd do 'something' incorrectly. Could you please move this to the Minnesota News/Activism forum.
Sorry. Now I know why I don't post threads....
