1) For those who do not take the time to know what is going on (including swing voters), photos have much more impact then words. Even know most people would believe the utterance of the F word to be more offensive than the gesture, you make an excellent point! We just witnessed how easily photos trump substance in Iraq where photos of prisoners being taunted with a dog received more exposure and concern than a beheading. You are so right. Let's hope a photo shows up.

Also that is why Cheney's nickname is "big time". Remember how the asshole/clymer "flap" was story #1 for the left wing news? I just can't wait for the liberal non-biased, conservative-leaning media reports about Kerry.

If a photo does exist, I would rather that the Traitor be confronted with the allegation, deny it happened..... and then bring out the photo!

I hear what you're saying, but I don't think flipping the bird at the military -- heckler or no -- goes over the same in a post-9/11 world. Then you must not have heard of U.S. Representative Pete Stark. He belittled an active military man's intelligence and sarcastically referred to him as "goddamned hero" after that military man criticized his vote.
Think that made any difference to any voters out there? Got news for you, sunshine.

This shows why every FREEP must be attended by two or more people with digital camcorders. We can only be sure of getting good pics if we shoot them ourselves.

good point . . . like many liberals, completely self-indulgent . . . the id is not to be supressed . . .
To: libstripper
The reality is: there will not be a photo of Kerry giving the finger to anyone. It will be squelched somehow. I have no faith that the media as it now exists would ever allow something like that to be broadcast. It will do anything in its power to stop it - and it has a lot of power. It ain't happenin'. Sorry, folks.

That's a sad story. However, that I didn't hear it is telling -- and I live in CA! -- and may possible say more about the media than the voters. If there is a photo to verify the Kerry story I don't think the media will be able to suppress it indefinitely.
Just call me Pollyanna :).

Is that Clinton photo real?
No way.
Look at the hand of the person on the right. It is the same angle and gesture, presumably.

There's enough money in that pic, or snippet of video, to get someone to turn it over despite being a Leftist at heart.

I'm sure there are at least a thousand Freepers who can come up with the requisite image in a couple of hours work. Only about 10 minutes using software supplied with a $70 scanner.

You don't have to worry about anyone questioning your opinion about J'efn'K's reconstructive nose job, Bush will give him the rope-a-dope at the debates and do it for all of us and the good of the country! (Come to think of it, ketchup boy may apply for another purple heart after GWB finishes with him!)

Freepers: If anyone has the opportunity to get near Kerry, DO IT! Just loudly tell the truth and maybe Kerry will go off again. If this is all true, he's easy. Amen to that !!!

Ok, your picture has got me interested. Please fill me in (in a nutshell) if you don't mind. I tried to get a better view of the picture, but I can't make out the words below the picture. Who is Rocky? What is the story behind the picture.
My vanity inquire, answer if you have time but I understand if you don't. TIA...

I had that happen once, it was embarrassing and I couldn't get the admin moderator to delete it.

How soon we forget...
I forget none of that. But your opinion that Gore did better than Clinton would have done is unjustified - and Gore almost won. That's the bottom line. Clinton's support for other candidates is not the same as Clinton himself, and 'down the ticket' candidates don't have the same association with the economy (which again, the press was falsely saying was good) as the president.
You're welcome to your opinion. I don't share it.
