Why aren't full propane trucks that sit for any length of time fitted with those "boots" they use for parking scofflaws?

That and a Lo-Jack type system to allow the vehicles to be tracked. However it was said at the press conference that these were "professional appearing" thefts. So they might have known how to disable both a boot and a Lo-Jack type system.

Bingo, you win the prize.

Just heard on the radio that the two trucks were found parked and abandoned about 2 miles from the border. A trucker called the trucks in after spotting them in a lot of some type.

Guess they felt the heat of the security alert -- no longer he same ol' Mexican theft of fuel from America.

Figured as much. Its very easy to see a terrorist behind every tree.

While "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar" Most of the time a Theft is just a Theft.
