Why do you think that killing - be they Muslims or others is correct? I am a Muslim and I do not believe in killing, we have been taught by the Prophet that "the one who takes a life is as though he has taken the life of all mankind, and the one who saves a life is as though he has saved all of mankind"

We are not all killers, do not paint all Muslims with the same brush. Just because one German (Hitler) killed 6 million Jews doesnt make all Germans evil, the same goes for Muslims, those who kill for their own reasons and state they are doing it for Islam will surely burn in Hell for a long time.

I live in England and get on well with Christians, Hindhus, Jews and Buddhists - we should learn to tolerate each other and not kill.

Peace to you
Mumin

Keep in mind that for many of us here, after 9/11, to here of anyone killed by Muslim fundamentalists is to relive that day.

The Koran, the Sunna, like the Christian Bible, can be interpreted different ways. As you know if you are Muslim, this is especially so with Islam since there is no formal chain of religious authority (such as that in the Catholic Church or the Orthodox Churches). We find that, much to our sorrow - and yes, our anger - many Muslims have chosen to treat us as enemies. Every society has the right to defend itself and, in extremis, to try, if all other measures fail, to eliminate those who seek to eliminate it.
