"In a sign of the sharp divisions in the veterans' community over Kerry, who helped lead antiwar protests and accused soldiers of atrocities after the war, a woman in a sweat shirt emblazoned with the American flag shouted at Kerry: "How much money are you getting to betray our POWs? Are you paying tribute to all the people you spat on, Senator Kerry?"
Kerry did not appear to respond to her, according to reporters who were at the wall to observe events on behalf of other reporters.
