About 40 years ago there was an incredibly racist off-Broadway play called "Day of Absence" in which all the blacks disappeared from a small Southern town and the bumbling white folks couldn't clean their own toilets or take out their own garbage.
Sounds like this movie is a plagiarized ripoff.
The flip side to a "Day without a Mexican" in places like LA could mean millions in savings for taxpayers. Think about the decreased level of gang activity, murders, ER's actually able to function, taxes being lowered because of the decreased need for food stamps and ESL plus Americans getting off their collective fat butts and mowing their own lawns.......one can only hope.
