In Georgia, as well as most of the South, I believe it would have been considered a misdemeanor at the very least, should one eat while Chet was performing....

Anyone know how to say "Atkins' Diet" in Georgian?I don't think it's relevant. It sounds like the poor kid is suffering from one of the rare (and perhaps single-gene) genetic abnormalities that result in early--and massive--obesity. Some specialists might even be able to help him, if he has one of the known genetic abnormalities. If the gene is unknown, it at least might help shed light on one of the causes of the more usual types of overweight/obesity and related conditions that afflict the rest of us, and cause some of us to flee to Atkins and other pop diet gurus.
