I don't understand why if the governement is going to release this type of information, that they can't bring him to trial. The government says they need to hold him in communicado for security reasons and that we can't hold a trial because it would create a threat to national security. Then the government lets out this type of information. Either indict him and bring him to trial or set him free.
he cannot be given the opportunity to have his ACLU lawyers depose the witnesses. What are we going to do, send the ACLU to visit KSM in the secret prison where he is being held?

If they try him ..they open up the methods used to gather the info against him. For all we know the US could have a mole inside AQ right now....and that can not be revealed to AQ by a Mark Geragos type.
