At 36, I have never been on unemployment. I did quit a good job 5 years ago to pursue what turned out to be a boondoggle in funeral sales. Quickly realizing I had to eat I began delivery pizzas, and was averaging $700-$800 a week! That is $5.10 salary, mileage, and tips, but I did have to hustle.
Alot might be taxes in certain areas, that keep factories out. Our problem here in MS is tort reform and Haley Barbour screamed that with Toyota refused to come here. Taxes and regulations are the culprit!

I delivered Pizza 2 years ago, par time, 3 nights a week, I only averaged $2.50 a delivery!
How in the WORLD did you get $700 a weekout of that??
I was making $7 an hour, plus about $32 for tips
5 x 7 = $35 + $32 = $67 a night

He is 40 years old. He makes $8.00+ an hour in wage pay plus tips. He is making a lot of money doing it to. He loves it. Brings home a stack of cash each night in tips, and being cash, is able to hide some of it from his wife so he has play money.
