Nancy Pelosi is deeply saddened by the idea that new equipment and tactics will bring our soldier home alive and well, thereby leading to the reelection of President Bush. As a liberal journalist recently said in Baghdad, "how terrible it would have been if all this had worked out." Well it is working out. It's just a more difficult project than our dumb liberals ever thought it would be. We're actually progressing much faster in Iraq than we did while rebuilding Germany and Japan.
