700 club exposes Monsieur Kerry

Anyone catch the 700 club with Pat Robertson? He just did a piece on Kerry that was beautiful. "Some of you may think Monsieur John Kerry (yes he used Monsier) is Irish, but that is false and the Senator has at times even said he was Irish. In 1984 he said he was part English and Irish, and in 1986 he said "some of us who are lucky enough to be Irish" in a speech, but the fact is Kerry is part French/English-Austrain Jew, who speaks French fluently. We went over to France to interview some of the people Jacques (yes Pat used that name as well) grew up with..." And it cut to these French people speaking in French with an over-dubbed translator. Oh it was great! "We support John over that Bush" Then Pat says, "Some people refused to talk to us about Jacques, but we did get to talk to his cousin who is Mayor of Saint Biar..I wish I taped it..He may repeat the show so check it out. He`s got Kerry showing up at a St. Pattys day thing with the green tie, just exposing the creep for the BS artist he is. "The fact remains that John Kerry has risen up the rnks of Mass. politics because of the lie that he is Irish"....I forget what channel it`s on, don`t miss it!!

What do you mean, how many times will they repeat it? I don`t know. I was just flipping through the channels and came upon it. I HOPE they repeat it, it was awesome, he`s got Kerry blatantly lying about being Irish. Le fraud!

Old news. Kerry was, I believe, adopted, and was given the surname by his new family. He apparently didn't find out his real ancestry until last year or so. It got a lot of publicity at the time.

There are much more important and damning things to go after Kerry for.

Does Pat Robertson want the world to know more about his nefarious diamond dealings in Africa? Does he "expose" Richard Perle for owning a house in France? Is Robertson (or was it Falwell, I forget) getting skittish over his "Bush on a landslide in 04, I heard it from God" prediction?

I don't wish to sound like a Kerry supporter... Lord knows I'm not. but this is a non issue. He's doomed on real issues, IMO.

If this were more of a traditional election year Kerry would have been a non-starter. No one would have allowed him to make it anywhere near this far.
He is such damaged goods, he is (by normal logic and consideration) totally unsuited to be POTUS.
But this isn't normal times we are living in. Yes, there is abundant evidence of Kerry's non-viability, but it isn't being broadcast like the incessant chatter about the "atrocities" at Abu Grahib.
Commensurately, conservatives are understandably pissed about the lack of coverage, and seek to bury him in sheer numbers of anecdotal evidence.
I agree that there are more egregious misdeeds by Kerry, but I say let it all out, and let the chips fly......

Ok, I see your point. Some of my POV is sculpted by where I live, I guess. I'm often a bit more careful in lambasting Dems/Libs, as not to hear the dreaded, "Don't you have anything more substantial?"

Not that I'm afraid mind you...

Also, I'm not the biggest Pat Robertson fan either, to be fair.

His Grandfather changed it from Kohn to Kerry, so in essence his real name is John Forbes Kohn, or if you like Jacques France Conehead.
