Yes, parents have a responsibility .. BUT SO DO TEACHERS
They have our kids from 8:30 till 3:00 .. 5 days a week .. 42/43 weeks out of a year ... which is 9/10 months out of the year
THERE IS NO EXCUSE AS TO WHY THEY KIDS CAN'T READ OR UNDERSTAND!!!
My Kids attend catholic school and EVERY year they have finals to make sure they know and understand all the work they learned throughout the year before they can go to the next grade
WHY CAN'T PUBLIC SCHOOLS DO THIS????
