That could very well be true.

I think I have read lately that beer consumption is actually going down steadily.

Have you heard that as well?

After visiting Norway a couple of months ago and spending 10 Yankee dollah for a pint...It seems like the whole population should be on strike for reduced beer taxes.

I have not seen that, but my consumption has gone way down.

Scandinavian countries are not known for cheap alcohol.

Southeast Asia and Mexico are cheap beer meccas for tourists.

Damn the U.N.!!!

We could wait from now until dooms day and they wouldn't act.

I say we fire up a C5 and mount a humanitarian mission to the land of my ancestors!

Wonder how many kegs a C5 will hold anyway......

LOL.

It always seems that whenever folks mention beer here on the internet, Homer Simpson is mentioned in the discussion sooner or later.

If only they made a Duff beer, like him and the guys drink!

Probably any beer you would normally find in the states on tap in a saloon would fit the role of Duff's. Here in Utah, the beer is by law 3.2 percent (or less) alcohol by volume. This is good for relaxing on a hot day or while watching a race, without frying brain cells. Real beer can be purchased, however, in state owned package stores. I'm particularly fond of India pale ale, and several brands of local stout.

(58 degrees here in NY on this first day of June)

Why is Utah beer only allowed to be 3.2 percent?

Weak beer, believe it or not, gives a nastier hang-over than strong beer.

I believe it, the part that makes you sicker isn't really the alcohol, it's all the other junk. Kinda like how red wine makes you the absolute sickest.
