To the people defending the indefensible, partial birth infanticide, it is irrelevant that the unborn feel or think or react ... their lifetimes already begun are disenfranchised to empower those who will vote for the democrat party, so the alive unborn are expendable to the democrats as an empowering sacrifice. The aliveness of the unborn is irrelevant to democrats such as Boxer, Kennedy, Clinton, Lautenberg, Biden, Feinstein, etc. because the serial killing is an empowering sacrament for the democrat party.

And don't imagine these same evil bastards will not gladly sacrifice thousands of breathing American citizens to win elections ... they have proven they will protect the serial killing of alive pre-breath individual human beings (defense of partial birth infanticide and serial killing on demand)! Terrorists are the democrat's close friends for the empowerment of the liars aiding the terrorists, like Gore, Kennedy, Daschle, H.R. Clinton, and Kerry, and their 'journalist goon squad of the media, like Matthews, Russert, Bill Schneider, the entire of the NYT, etc. By democrat party calculations --and they have arrange things so that disaster benefits their goals and lies-- many Americans need to be slaughtered this summer by terrorists and our Soldiers in Iraq need to die in greater numbers, to empower the democrat lies that grease administration change at the expense of YOU and ME. If you doubt it, remember that the democrats proudly chant the mantra of 'a woman's right to hire a serial killer to off the unborn as the woman sees fit'. Those slaughtered children waiting to be born are alive individual human beings that the democrat party builds their political capital upon.

Yes, it is, I add my thanks. I remember years ago my brother wondering what an unborn baby would dream about. He felt it must be strange things, like light and dark and temperature changes.

I certainly didn't know babies had any sensation of taste.

You know, it really bugs me when people call this procedure a "partial birth abortion". >>

It's a play on words, just like "pro-choice" and people fall for it.

Thanks, for the ping, DD. Even after all these years, I still cannot believe that our [once] great nation could allow the pulling apart, burning or beheading of an innocent baby -- not to mention an entire political party touting it as one of the major planks in their party platform. It sickens me to the core that the most dangerous place in America is in the womb. How did we come to this point? God help us.

Not too long ago there was a thread in FR on one state's effort to pass a law requiring the abortionist to anesthetize the fetus prior to abortion.

I thought this was a burst of genius for the pro-life cause. You may not be able to restrict abortion, but you can regulate the extraction of a baby tooth--why not regulate the extraction of a fetus? Particularly when the law itself attracts pointed attn to the inhumanity of the process.

I don't know the progress of that law, but I hope it makes it.

bttt....recently heard the Dr. speak on EWTN, I knew his name sounded familiar...time flies...and the poor children are still suffering in the womb during an abortion, feeling the pain. God help us.

I’ve never been convinced that it is in the name of choice. I have always had the impression that they just liked killing people.
