Yes, I understand they have indoor plumbing in Mo. too! :-)In Missouri, indoor plumbing means the doors stays shut on the outhouse even in a wind storm. lol

Thanks for the report. Sounds like a great time. Really wish I could have made the trip but unfortunately my van decided it wasn't going anywhere much less Columbia.
Taps chokes me up everytime I hear it. It just sounds so lonely.

Nice place. Traffic on Hampton can be a bit of a problem, but otherwise a dandy choice.
St. Louis' famous ''Hill'' district is right around the corner from you...and you flat CANNOT go wrong there for dining (with any sort of minimum local guidance, g!).
Somebody pick the place, I'm absolutely game for anything on the Hill.
